1		Gen Bangladesh – 10th November 2025. National University (NU) signed an MoU with GEN Bangladesh on 10th November 2025 to strengthen digital skills, industry engagement, and employability for students and faculty. The partnership includes AI literacy programs, Data Science and Analytics training, international certifications, career fests, internships, and industry–academia roundtables. NU will provide institutional support, while GEN Bangladesh will offer globally aligned training, mentorship, and industry linkages. The collaboration aims to prepare NU graduates with future-ready digital and entrepreneurial skills.
2		Wekerle International University, Hungary – Signed on 10th November 2025. The partnership enhances academic cooperation and international engagement. It covers collaborative degree programs, student and scholar exchanges, credit transfer opportunities, joint research, and other mutually agreed academic activities. Both universities will coordinate through designated representatives, communicate in English, and resolve issues through constructive dialogue, fostering a strong academic partnership.
3		Shinawatra University, Thailand – On 10th November 2025. National University signed an MoU with Shinawatra University, Thailand, to enhance academic cooperation and international engagement. The partnership includes faculty and student exchanges, joint seminars and workshops, collaborative research, and shared academic resources. The agreement is effective for three years, with provisions for amendments, termination with notice, and automatic renewal, reflecting both universities’ commitment to global academic collaboration and enhanced learning opportunities.
4		INTI International University, Malaysia – On 10th November 2025. National University, Bangladesh, signed an MoU with INTI International University, Malaysia, to enhance academic cooperation and international engagement. The partnership includes student and scholar exchanges, joint research and publications, academic collaborations, as well as seminars, trainings, and conferences. The agreement is effective for three years, with provisions for renewal, amendments, and termination with prior notice, aiming to expand global learning opportunities and strengthen academic excellence.
5		Herwill Foundation – Signed on 30/10/2025. This collaboration will introduce HerWILL’s Project-Based Internship Program and Mentor-Mentee Program for NU students. It also plans hackathons, datathons, speaker series, and global opportunities, along with gender equality-focused initiatives.
6		Quazi Consultants – An MoU signed on 27 September 2025. This MoU will introduce the Master Trainer Development Program (MTDP) to build a nationwide master trainer network. It will also implement employability programs on leadership, soft skills, and emotional intelligence, while enhancing faculty teaching quality and administrative leadership skills.
7		The University of New Haven, USA (UNH) – On 14 September 2025. The University of New Haven, USA (UNH) and the National University of Bangladesh (NUB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic ties. The MoU provides a framework for future cooperation, focusing on student exchanges, joint conferences and workshops, online guest lectures, adjunct faculty opportunities, joint PhD programs, and collaborative research and publications. While not a binding agreement, the MoU reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to promote academic excellence, innovation, and cross-cultural learning.
8		Department of Theatre and Performance Studies, University of Dhaka – Signed on 4 September 2025. The collaboration aims to promote joint academic programs, workshops, and performances in Theatre in Education (TiE) and Drama in Education (DiE). It will further explore interdisciplinary opportunities in theatre, dance, and music, while enabling faculty and student exchanges.
9		Hope Education, China – Signed on 3 September 2025. This collaboration will introduce initiatives in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, faculty exchange, and language learning.
10		Daaru Salaam University, Somalia – Signed on 3 September 2025. The partnership will focus on postgraduate education and joint academic research.

Diplomatic Engagements and Future Directions:

Beyond institutional agreements, NU has also engaged with embassies of China and Switzerland, while outreach efforts are underway with embassies of Turkey, Russia, Australia, Canada, Japan, and others. These diplomatic ties will pave the way for global academic exchange programs, scholarships, and international research collaborations.
