About The Department
The ICT Department started its journey as Computer Center in 1999 to facilitate and computerize the huge manual tasks of academic activities such as admission, registration, form fill up, examinations, result processing and result publication, research, curriculum development and publication and many more. Currently ICT department provides all sorts of academic activities of this university on online. ICT Department is one of the core departments of this University. It is situated at 12th and 13th floor of Academic Building. The department is furnished with a good and well experienced team of ICT professionals.
This department manages and configures well brand and updated networked switches, routers and servers with high configuration. They are furnished with security devices, security software/hardware & security firewall and fiber optic cable network connection of 225 Mbps speed to make sure effective support and implementation of ICT activities to 2324 colleges/institutions and about 2.8 million students round the clock all over the country as well as entire university.
