The National University Bangladesh has about 2250 affliated colleges and institutions offering bachelor, honors, masters, and various professional degree programs. Its main campus offers on-campus honors, advanced masters, MPhil & PhD studies. The dean is responsible for preparing the curriculum and syllabus for the above programs and their gradual upgradation to ensure the contemporary market demand and practices. Maintaining and enhancing the academia-industry relationship is also an essential responsibility of the dean. Moreover, the dean accelerates and furthers monitoring of affliated institutions' academic atmosphere and needs assessment.
